Dr. Albert Bellvert - Curriculum vitae

After completing 6 years of a degree in Medicine at the University of Navarra , he began the 4 years of specialization in Family and Community Medicine , as a resident physician (MIR) , at the Germans Trias i Pujol Hospital and at the Llefiá Primary Care Center , in Badalona.

Aiming to complete his studies in the United States, after obtaining the USMLE Step 1 , he settled in Badalona. For a few years he participated in several solidarity projects, one of which was in the Moria camp in Lesbos, Greece, to actively collaborate as a doctor with refugees in transit. There was a turning point that marked the end of a stage and the beginning of a transformative change in his vision as a humanitarian doctor , also passing through the Balkan route in Serbia or the Polish border with Ukraine at the beginning of the Ukrainian War.

After intense activity during the COVID-19 pandemic , in which he published his first book, PUTO VIRUS , he worked in Ireland , in a rural area, where he learned new ways of working, as well as getting to know a new vision of the family doctor, having previously completed the subspecialty of Aeronautical Medicine with AESA at CIMA, in Madrid.

He subsequently returned to Catalonia as Director of the Primary Care Team in Premiá de Mar, an experience that inspired his second book PUTU X , on the management of Public Health. He currently works as an assistant physician in the same Primary Care Team.

He has participated in various Congresses, Conferences and taken various courses and was considered a future star of Primary Care by the Vasco Da Gama Movement of WONCA in 2022. He continues with Continuing Education in addition to publishing various articles.
